Ongoing dialogue

In order to fulfil its commitment to provide the very best barrier protective solutions, Ansell Limited advocates an ongoing dialogue with its business partners, end-users and industry and medical associations. Thanks to this two-way communication, Ansell succeeds in having an edge in know-how and products.

Customer-driven development

Ansell Limited actively promotes and carries out customer-driven development processes. The company tries to look at solutions through the eyes of the people who rely on them and fosters ongoing dialogue with customers - often distributors - and end-users to stay tuned to their demands and wishes. Then a balance is struck between their requirements and the technical/business feasibility. The HyFlex® 11-920 glove is a recent example of an Ansell solution meeting a long-standing industry demand: the need for a glove ensuring optimal grip in slightly oily environments.

Lending advice and pooling expertise

The ongoing dialogue with customers and end-users also includes a solid commitment from the company's side: by offering expert advice and know-how, through technical support services, safety strategies, educational services or consultancy services on how to select the most appropriate protection solution. The latter service is of great importance, as there is still a trend where end-users are wearing the wrong glove for the wrong application.

More than providing added value to the people buying and/or wearing  the Ansell products, such programs also give Ansell the opportunity to stay in close touch with its end-users. This close relationship is a good way to stimulate customer loyalty and create top-of-mind brand awareness.

Unique services and solutions that foster relationships with end-users include:

  • GuardianSM program - a management tool to help industries assess and optimize safety solutions
  • Ansell Glove Management Program - a management tool to help hospitals choose the best and most cost-effective hand protection solutions for surgeons and other healthcare workers
  • AnsellCares - an educational programme to promote hand protection awareness and share know-how with healthcare communities all over the world.
  • Ansell Cytostatic Permeation Program (ACPP° - new ways of assessing glove resistance to cytostatic permeation
