Growing safety and comfort concerns in specific industries
As a result of an ever-more stringent safety legislation and growing safety awareness in general, many industries such as food and building and construction demand trade specific hand protection for their workforce. Other environments, such as military and first responder, demand even higher performing hand protection solutions by nature. At the same time, end-users are becoming more demanding in terms of improved aesthetics, comfort and style. Consequently, there is an increasing need for high performance, application-specific hand protection solutions.
At the forefront of hand protection innovation
To maintain its leading position as an industry innovator, Ansell has established two groups focusing on science and technology.

Application-specific approach
A meat processing factory, a military and first response unit or a building site, one can see Ansell gloves at work in all kinds of industrial applications. The global leader in protection recognizes that each application has its own complexity and particular requirements. Years of experience in widely separated sectors, close co-operation with industry associations, and customer feedback. These have provided Ansell with valuable commercial insights and an understanding of the needs of the customer, as well as the nature of specific solutions required in any application. Consequently, Ansell is able to expressly tailor its products and services to suit each sector’s specific needs.
In addition, Ansell’s targeted solution packages are increasingly valued by smaller companies and self-employed tradesmen for whom hand protection has not been prevalent so far.
