A premium automotive manufacturer approached Ansell in EMEA o improve safety, worker productivity and standardize best practices through Ansell Guardian approach and methodology.
 

Following safety assessment initial key findings unveiled an inappropriate hand protection in body shop and engine production job applications (critical cut environment).

Increase of safety (no cut injuries reported from the period July to October 2013).

Increased wearer satisfaction (different colours of the gloves allow better control of the products in use).


A large industrial corporation in NA was experiencing high incident rates of hand lacerations, including a an amputation. Hand injury costs exceeded $300.000 in one year.

An Ansell Guardian assessment was organized on-site in order to assess all risks faced by the customer and implement best practices recommendations and validated positive impacts.

 


During the first year following the best practice implementation, recordable injuries declined to zero. First aid injuries were reduced by 90%, resulting in injury cost savings of over $300,000.

A world leader in design, manufacturing, and supply of paper-based packaging with 16 plants and four different manufacturing processes  needed to standardize hand protection across their facilities in México (over 5,500 employees).
 

Ansell conducted an assessment, resulting in a series of SKU reduction and standardization recommendations – all leading to reduced hand injuries and standardization best practices.
 

To date Ansell Guardian recommendations have driven 30% SKU reduction. In addition these recommendations have Increased productivity, wearer satisfaction, and is expected to reduce hand injury levels to zero.
