METROPARK HANDS ON WITH HYFLEX DAY

As part of our bi-annual Hands-On with HyFlex® Day event, employees from Ansell’s Metropark hub partnered with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) and Barnegat Bay Partnership to participate in its annual Barnegat Bay Blitz event – a one-day watershed-wide event that brings together businesses and individuals to help clean up more than 660 square miles of land in 37 New Jersey municipalities.

Over forty Ansell employees across fifteen different functions donated a total of 123 volunteer hours cleaning the public areas of Point Pleasant Beach, including two lakes, a canal, two parks and of course, the beach. In total, volunteers picked up 51 bags of trash and eight bags of recyclable items!

In addition to Ansell employees donating their time and effort, the Ansell SUI team also donated 1,102 HyFlex® gloves and 1,050 MICROFLEX® gloves, totaling 2,152 donated Ansell gloves for this coastal initiative.

Overall, Ansell employees had an amazing day getting out of the office plus giving back to the community. Thank you to everyone who participated in the event. We are looking forward to many more Hands-On with HyFlex® Day events in the future.
