A chemical substance can change forms, and at times are present in a form that cannot be seen or smelled. Therefore, this renders it undetectable. As a result of that, chemical hazards are not always visible because it cannot be detected when it changes to a form that is not easily distinguished.
Additionally, detecting some forms of chemicals may also be challenging. Chemicals in solid or liquid form are easier to recognize as they can be seen. However, chemical substances in the form of mists and dust may not be visible, as it is dependent on the size and concentration of the chemical.
