Natural Rubber Latex

With great flexibility and good resistance to many acids and alcohols, Ansell’s natural rubber latex gloves have long been the preferred choice for chemical and liquid protection.


Nitrile

Along with good protection against bases, oils, many solvents, greases and animal fats, our nitrile gloves also offer excellent resistance to snags and punctures, abrasions, and cuts for a thin polymer glove.

PVC

PVC provides good resistance against many acids, caustics, bases, and alcohols, and offers provides abrasion resistance. With these gloves, workers with latex allergies can experience the comfort of natural rubber latex without worrying about having an allergic reaction.


Neoprene

Neoprene resists a broad range of oils, acids, caustics, and solvents, but is less resistant to snags, punctures, abrasions, and cuts than nitrile or natural rubber.


Natural Rubber Latex Neoprene Blend

Natural rubber latex is often combined with neoprene to make up one of the most versatile composite blends in glove manufacturing. This formula brings the best of both worlds to deliver a more flexible material with a higher level of protection against hazardous chemicals.


Butyl

Butyl gloves deliver superior resistance against aldehydes, ketones, esters, and concentrated mineral acids. It has the added benefit of excellent dexterity and flexibility, making it easier to grasp and manipulate small parts.


Viton/Butyl

Viton/Butyl gloves offer an extra level of protection. The Viton layer over the butyl means this is not a lower-cost glove but one of the most expensive ones for aggressive chemical exposure to aliphatic, halogenated, and aromatic hydrocarbons as well as concentrated mineral acids.


Polyvinylalcohol

Ansell’s PVA gloves deliver high resistance to aliphatics, aromatics, chlorinated solvents, esters, and most ketones. They are also resistant to snags, punctures, abrasions, and cuts, making it an ideal choice in rugged work environments. Because they are water-soluble, these gloves are not suitable for environments where they may be exposed to water or light alcohols.
