Do neoprene gloves contain latex?

Neoprene gloves do not contain natural rubber latex.

Wearing neoprene gloves or latex alternative gloves can help those with skin allergies avoid contact with raw latex proteins during production.

Natural rubber latex is made with particles derived from plants, such as rubber trees (Hevea brasiliensis). The proteins in natural rubber latex may cause Type IV skin allergies for some wearers. Latex allergies can vary in severity, consisting of skin irritations, rashes, hives, or difficulty breathing. In some cases, latex allergies can even be fatal. Wearers who want to avoid the risk of Type IV skin allergies may seek alternatives to gloves made with natural rubber latex.

Neoprene gloves are made with synthetic materials and do not contain natural rubber latex. Neoprene gloves can be used as replacements for natural rubber latex gloves in many applications. Neoprene gloves also offer excellent wet grip and elasticity for enhanced comfort.

Ansell carries a variety of high-quality disposable neoprene gloves which are a great option for those looking for a latex alternative with superior wet grip and elasticity.
