• Elevated comfort: This ultra-lightweight hood is fitted with an attached adjustable air flow regulator providing 150 – 300 liters per minute at a working pressure of 3.5 – 5.5 bar
• Enhanced view: To improve personal protection, the AlphaTec® 5000 AVANT AIRline HOOD Ultrasonically Welded & Taped – Model 521 features a panoramic visor design with 180-degree view
• Increased visibility: Owing to its highly visible orange color, this safety hood also increases workplace safety
• Added safety: In addition, it provides an in-built AlphaTecTM Flow Control Valve and Low Flow Alarm unit, which features the AlphaTecTM Low Flow Alarm whistle that produces > 90dB (A) sound pressure and conforms to EN14594: 2005 clause 6.11.

Design features

AlphaTec® 5000 AVANT Air-Fed Hood c/w belt mounted AlphaTec® flow control valve and low flow warning whistle. Flow rate adjustable from 150 to 300 litres per minute at a working pressure of 3 to 5 bar. T000(0521) version has a ¼" female parallel thread for addition of the users preferred airline connector. TA00(A521) version comes with pre-fitted CEJN-342 Connector. TB00(B521) version comes with a pre-fitted AQR06 Connector. Panoramic PET Semi rigid multi-layer visor. Polyester waist belt and YKK buckle.
