Alongside our sustainability progress, we continued to strengthen our business performance, advance innovation, and support our customers around the world.

Empowering our people

Our people are at the heart of what we do. As we operate in a complex global supply chain, we extend our expectations of fostering a culture of safety and wellbeing and invest in the communities where we operate.

• 90% of our finished goods suppliers and 81% of our raw material suppliers meet Ansell's labour, health and safety standards for decent work, after adding 20 newly assessed suppliers this year.¹
• 32% reduction in total recordable injury frequency rate (TRIFR).
• 1,320 employee volunteer hours reached with the launch of our new Hearts & Hands community engagement strategy

Why does it matter?

Resilient supply chains are dependable when employees' safety, wellbeing, and labour rights are upheld. Beyond delivering products you can depend on, we are responsible to our people and the suppliers we work with.

Protecting the planet

We protect workers and we also recognise the urgent need to act for the future of the planet we all share.

• 36% decrease in Scope 1 & 2 emissions (from FY20 base year)
• 42% of suppliers² with science-based targets and commitments to SBTi
• 55% of energy consumption now comes from renewable sources, up 5% from last year, with maintained 58% renewable electricity sourced across plants.
• 9 out of 14 plants certified to ISO 50001 Energy Management Systems
• 12 out of 14 plants maintained over 99% waste to landfill diversion and Zero Waste to Landfill certification

Why does it matter?

Our target to reach net-zero GHG emissions across our value chain by FY2045 was officially validated by SBTi, establishing our commitments to reduce our impacts. We progressed in this effort and achieved 5 consecutive years of emissions reduction in our operations.

Reimagining our products

At Ansell, it is important to us to create high-performing products while minimizing our environmental impact. This year, we launched products that support our goal of combining innovative design with sustainability.

• 60% bio-based carbon in our new TouchNTuff 93-800, an award-winning breakthrough glove with at least 15 minutes of acetone resistance
• 20% recycled content per updated glove in our popular AlphaTec 58 and 53 Series
• 40-59% reduction in comparative carbon footprint⁴ in our new HyFlex Sustainable Cut Resistance Series

Why does it matter?

Leading the world to a safer future means that sustainability cannot be an afterthought. We are committed to support advancing initiatives that consider the entire product lifecycle, from design and production to end-of-life management. Hence, through our RightCycle program, we've helped 254 end-users divert used PPE from landfills.

1. Suppliers that are in-scope are direct finished goods and raw material suppliers managed by Global Sourcing, and excludes speciality, non-glove products. Current year performance excludes raw material suppliers who have been onboarded on to our Supplier Management Framework (SMF) in FY26 and are at earlier stages of their compliance journey, requiring time to schedule audits, implement corrective actions and complete verification audits. Newly onboarded raw material supplier ratings will be reported in FY27.
2. Covering purchased goods and services and upstream transportation and distribution have science-based emissions targets.
3. TÜV Austria OK biobased Class 3 certification, indicating a Biobased Carbon Content of the product of ≤60% and < 80.
4. Results are based on comparative Life Cycle Assessment of the new product and standard Ansell PU gloves with an equivalent level of protection. The assessment was conducted in accordance with ISO 14040:2006 and ISO 14044:2006 and underwent an independent critical review by a qualified external reviewer.
