Important Notice: Cyber Incident

Ansell is committed to protecting the privacy and security of all individuals and organizations whose data we hold. We are posting this notice to provide information regarding a recent cyber incident that has resulted in unauthorized access to some personally identifiable information and transactional business information.

What Happened

On October 14, 2025, Ansell publicly disclosed a cyber incident involving unauthorized access to certain company data. The breach was the result of a vulnerability in Oracle EBS, a third-party enterprise application we use for certain business functions.  This vulnerability was previously unknown to Oracle and many organizations that use Oracle globally have experienced similar incidents.

The unauthorized access was limited to a single platform and did not impact the broader company environment.  There has been no disruption to our operations.

Our IT team acted swiftly to contain and remediate the issue, and we engaged leading cyber security experts to support our investigation and response.  We also engaged relevant government authorities and regulators, including the Australian National Office of Cyber Security and the National Cyber Security Coordinator.

What Information Was Involved

The type of personally identifiable information accessed varies by country and individual and includes data for some employees, former employees and their family members that is typically provided over the course of employment.  This includes the types of information typically collected for employment, payroll, and benefits administration.

Current or past employees of Ansell with questions about whether their personal information was affected can contact Response@ansell.com.

The type of transactional business information accessed also varies by organization and includes information such as business names, contact details, pricing, orders, and/or invoice and remittance data.

Customer or supply partners with questions on transactional information can contact CyberResponse@ansell.com.

What We Are Doing

We are working with law enforcement and relevant government agencies around the world and have obtained a worldwide injunction in Australia to protect the data of those affected. This injunction prevents the stolen data from being accessed, viewed, released, used, transmitted or published by anyone, including competitors and media outlets. However, this may not prevent illegal use of the stolen data.

Based on what we have learned from the nature of this incident, our IT team is working with our software vendors and cyber security advisors to further strengthen our defenses and reduce risk and impact in the future.  We’ve expanded cyber monitoring, tightened access protocols, and initiated a deeper review of vendor risk practices.

Final Note

We remain committed to safeguarding the information of all those affected by this incident and encourage current and past employees or partners to contact our Cyber Response team with any questions or concerns.
