Ansell’s 2025 Sustainability Report – Now Available!

We’re excited to announce that Ansell’s latest Sustainability is now available. This report goes beyond numbers; it tells the story of how our actions are shaping a better future for people, communities, and the planet.

Sustainability and viability have always gone hand in hand. To create value for our shareholders, we must be resilient. And to be resilient, we must protect and support our people and our planet. These goals are not mutually exclusive; they are deeply interconnected.

Our Focus: People, Planet, and Products

Over the past year, we’ve continued to pursue ambitious, multi-year targets in three critical areas:

  • Enhancing employment conditions across our operations and supply chain
  • Reducing environmental impacts.
  • Helping our customers achieve their own sustainability goals.

Here’s a closer look at our progress.

Human rights and safe working conditions are central to who we are. In FY25, we made meaningful progress:

  • Increased the percentage of our workforce adhering to a 60-hour work week from 60% in FY24 to 76% in FY25.
  • Achieved a 16% decrease in injury rate.
  • Expanded the number of finished goods suppliers meeting our labour, health, and safety standards from 72% in FY24 to 90% in FY25.

Through our Supplier Management Framework, we’ve successfully engaged our largest suppliers, and we continue working closely with smaller suppliers to ensure progress across the entire supply chain. By embedding these practices into our business, we’re protecting people, strengthening our reputation as an employer, and serving as an industry role model.

This year also brought important milestones for our environmental commitments:

  • Achieved an 11% reduction in emissions intensity, even as production increased by 34%.
  • Expanded our carbon reduction targets to achieve Net Zero in Scope 3 and got the validation from SBTi
  • Expanded the use of reverse osmosis systems and other water-reduction technologies, helping conserve water in high-stress regions and building resilience against global water security challenges.

These steps not only strengthen our environmental impact but also deliver significant cost savings, reinforcing that sustainability and financial performance can, and must, work together.

Product innovation is at the heart of our sustainability strategy. In FY25, 80% of the products we launched featured reduced environmental impacts, including:

  • Low-energy-consumption materials.
  • Minimized packaging.
  • Enhanced reusability and recyclability.

These innovations help customers reduce waste and shrink their carbon footprints, while also creating stronger customer partnerships, driving sales growth, and providing meaningful competitive differentiation for Ansell.

Looking Ahead

Every decision we make about sustainability is guided by one principle: progress must also support our long-term financial objectives. That’s why we’re proud to share how our efforts are delivering measurable results for everyone.

By reducing costs through efficiency, conserving critical resources, and helping others achieve their own goals, we are creating a win-win-win scenario for us, our stakeholders, and the world we all share.
