HyFlex Sustainable Cut Resistance Series

With this in mind, Ansell has launched the HyFlex Sustainable Cut Resistance Series, a new family of gloves that brings together reliable cut protection, long-lasting durability, and responsible material innovation.

The new series includes three models – HyFlex 11-752 (EN ISO Cut Level B), 11-762 (EN ISO Cut Level C), and 11-772 (EN ISO Cut Level D) – offering a full range of cut levels for light to medium-risk applications across manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, metal fabrication, and general industry.

 

Rethinking Cut Protection with Advanced Eco-Yarns

Traditional cut-resistant gloves often rely on metal fibers or glass – materials that can create discomfort through poking, itching, or fiber breakage. The new HyFlex series takes a different approach.

Each glove features an advanced eco-yarn engineered to deliver advanced cut protection without metal or glass fibers. The result?

  • a noticeably softer feel
  • no irritation
  • consistent comfort throughout the shift
  • precise handling thanks to a lightweight 18-gauge liner

Supporting Circularity with Recycled Materials

Sustainability sits at the core of the HyFlex Sustainable Cut Resistance Series. More than 50% of each glove is made from recycled polyester, recovered from post-consumer PET bottles.

Based on LCA-certified testing (glove size 9 tested), the gloves achieve significant CO₂ reductions compared to similar products:

  • 11-752: 25.2%
  • 11-762: 44.9%

Depending on the model, each pair gives 1.21 to 1.55 plastic bottles a new life.

It’s a small change with big implications for large-scale PPE consumption.
