What is AXIS Portugal?

AXIS stands for the Ansell Xperience and Innovation Studio: an immersive, collaborative environment where our experts educate, experiment, and co-create with partners to solve tomorrow’s safety challenges. In practice, that means onsite labs, live product testing, and working sessions with the technical people who develop what you use.

AXIS Portugal is our second, located near Coimbra and serving customers and partners across EMEA. The first opened in Alpharetta, Georgia in October 2025.

One of the truly unique aspects of AXIS Portugal is its proximity to one of our manufacturing operations, giving visitors a rare opportunity to see how protective solutions move from concept and development through to production.
