6 October, 2025 – Ansell Limited (ASX: ANN), is proud to present a Greenovation Award to the School of Chemistry at the Edinburgh University in recognition of its leadership in sustainable waste management through the RightCycle™ Program. The award celebrates the School’s ongoing commitment to the RightCycle™ Program, which enables institutions to divert non-hazardous personal protective equipment (PPE) from landfill and transform it into new consumer products. Since 2015, the School of Chemistry has diverted 18,838 kg of PPE, working with Steve Harkin and Dr. Laura McCorkindale.
Empowering Circular Change Through RightCycle™
RightCycle™ is Ansell’s innovative sustainability initiative designed to help organizations rethink waste. By collecting used PPE, such as gloves and garments, and repurposing these materials into durable goods like park benches and flower pots, the program supports a growing circular economy and reduces environmental impact. By participating in the program, Edinburgh University has demonstrated a strong commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.
