2X More Chemical Splash Protection*

Workers across industries come into contact with oils, cleaning agents, paints and other liquids containing chemicals each and every day. While ordinary disposable gloves may provide some protection in the event of accidental exposure, not all disposable gloves provide the same levels of protection. New MICROFLEX® 93-850 gloves offer 2X more chemical splash protection against a wide range of chemicals when compared to the leading brands of disposable gloves. This is important, because accidental exposure to chemicals can cause workers to experience skin irritation, or serious health problems over time.

Below are breakthrough test times for MICROFLEX® 93-850 when compared to nitrile disposable gloves of a similar weight. For a more complete list of MICROFLEX® 93-850 Chemical Permeation Breakthrough Test Times refer to the MICROFLEX® 93-850 Chemical Permeation Chart.

HIGHEST BARRIER QUALITY & CONSISTENCY

The quality and consistency of the material used to make disposable gloves is measured by Acceptable Quality Levels, or AQL. When used in reference to disposable gloves, AQL is a measure of the number of pinhole defects in a production lot of gloves. A low AQL signals that glove wearers are less likely to find a glove with a pinhole defect. New MICROFLEX® 93-850 gloves set a new standard of dependability for disposable gloves, with a low AQL of just 0.40. This means significantly fewer pinhole defects per lot when compared to lots of standard nitrile disposable gloves - and less risk of breaches, rips or tears that can lead to harmful exposures.

HOW IT'S MADE

Learn more about Ansell's proprietary polymer formulation that provides superior splash resistance against a wide range of hazardous chemicals, for durable protection with a soft, comfortable feel.

Learn More

It starts with TNT™ Chemical Splash Resistance Technology - a soft, durable, proprietary polymer formulation that provides superior splash protection against a wide range of chemicals. From there, a highly advanced polymer bonding technique strengthens the glove on a molecular level, enabling MICROFLEX® 93-850 to provide 2X more chemical splash protection than leading brands of disposable nitrile gloves. Using state-of-the art processes, the glove is then manufactured to ensure consistently high levels of quality, film consistency and barrier integrity - allowing MICROFLEX® 93-850 gloves to claim the low AQL of 0.40.
