15 April 2026, Brussels – Ansell Limited (ASX: ANN), a global leader in safety solutions, announces the launch of the HyFlex Sustainable Cut Resistance Series, a new range of industrial gloves designed to deliver advanced cut protection while supporting lower environmental impact.
The series includes HyFlex 11-752 (EN ISO Cut Level B), HyFlex 11-762 (EN ISO Cut Level C) and HyFlex 11-772 (EN ISO Cut Level D), engineered for light to medium cut tasks where comfort and durability matter. Each glove is constructed using Ansell’s newly developed eco yarn, delivering cut resistance without metal or glass fibers that can cause irritation, poking, or liner breakage. The lightweight 18-gauge design supports natural hand movement, while providing long-lasting durability, enhanced comfort, and certified skin safety.
More than 50 percent of each glove’s total weight is made from recycled polyester sourced from post-consumer PET bottles, transforming plastic waste into functional hand protection. For safety managers and procurement teams, this offers a practical way to support sustainability goals without tradeoffs in performance. LCA-certified testing based on size 9 confirms a reduction in carbon emissions of 25,2 percent for HyFlex 11-752 and 44,9 percent for HyFlex 11-762. Each pair of gloves repurposes the equivalent of 1,21 PET bottles for the 11-752, 1,55 PET bottles for the 11-762, and 1,48 PET bottles for 11-772.
To help gloves last longer in real working conditions, the series features a DMF-free polyurethane coating that provides up to four times greater wear resistance than standard PU coatings. Longer wear life means fewer glove changes during a shift and less overall glove consumption over time, supporting both operational efficiency and waste reduction.
HyFlex Sustainable Cut Resistance gloves are also designed for all-day wear. All models are DMF free, silicone free, and latex free, and certified by Dermatest® and OEKO TEX®, helping reduce the risk of skin irritation for workers who rely on gloves throughout long shifts.
“Workers need cut protection they can trust to perform consistently, shift after shift,” said Christina Beahm, Senior Director, Global Category Management. “With the HyFlex Sustainable Cut Resistance Series, we are delivering durable, comfortable protection while giving customers a tangible way to reduce environmental impact without compromise.”
