DESIGN
Encapsulating design with visor and hump - SCBA worn inside the suit. Fits on top of all major SCBA brands and bottle sizes. Comes with two different visor options:
Type CV - Wide vision visor with 3D depth of 20 cm.
Type VP1 - Larger visor.
GARMENT MATERIAL
• Fabric system consisting of a chloroprene/Nomex® outer and chloroprene/polymer laminate barrier inner provides 8hr + protection from a wide range of chemicals including warfare agents
• Available in Orange (standard) or Black (upon request)
SEAMS
• Aramid stitched seams for superior strength and durability
• Both inner and outer seams are sealed to provide a continuous barrier layer with the same level of chemical protection as the garment material itself
VISOR
• Rigid 2 mm impact and chemical resistant PVC
• Available in two sizes; CV or a larger field of view VP1 version, both of which are covered by a replaceable, antistatic Tear-off lens
ZIPPER
• Strong and durable, gas-tight chloroprene rubber coated zipper is standard
• EN 943-2/ET certified suits are equipped with the TRELLCHEM® HCR zipper, which includes a barrier film for increased chemical resistance
• Zipper closes top to bottom for added safety and is protected by a flap/splash guard
VENTILATION
• Standard built-in suit ventilation system adds safety due to a constant level of overpressure inside the suit
• TRELLCHEM® Regulating valve has 3 ventilation rates (2, 30 and 100 l/min) plus zero/off position and is as an option also available in a passthrough version for use with external air supply. Encapsulating suits have two overpressure valves in the back of the hood.
GLOVES
• Ansell Barrier® inner glove and outer ChemTek™ #38-628 Viton®/Butyl rubber glove
• NFPA 1991:2016 certified suits include the AlphaTec® Overglove, a cut-resistant aramid outer glove
• TRELLCHEM® Bayonet glove ring system offers quick and simple glove exchange
FOOTWEAR
• Sewn-in socks/booties or attached Nitrile rubber safety boots with European approval as Firemen’s boots (not on suits certified to NFPA 1991:2016)
• Boots are fixed with an ergonomically designed ring attachment, for simplified boot exchange
• NFPA 1991:2016 incl. the optional Chemical Flash Fire & Liquefied Gas protection requirements*
